Tenambit Tiny Tikes- term 1​

Supported Playgroup for families with a child 0-6 years. The group is free and is based on the evidence- based Smalltalk Supported Playgroup model developed by the Parenting Research Centre.

Where: Tenambit Community Hall (Cnr Kenneth & Tyrell St)

DFV PROGRAM- Term 1 

The Shark Cage

​

​Join Patience and Chloe Wednesdays10am- 12.30pm from 18 Feb to 1 April 2026.   â€‹â€‹

The Shark Cage is a supportive group for women who have experienced abusive or controlling relationships. Topics covered are: 

* healthy & unhealthy relationships

* boundary setting

* assertive communication

* the impact of domestic & family violence

* human rights, and 

* self worth!

This program is in partnership with Carries Place and funded by the NSW DCJ. 

​

 Pre-interview is required, places are limited, morning tea and childcare is provided and registration is essential. 

​

PARENTING PROGRAM- Term 1 

TIK: Tuning in to Kids

​

​Join Bec and Mark Fridays 10am- 12.30pm from 27 Feb to 27 March 2026.   â€‹

​

Tuning in to Kids helps parents: 

* support kids with understanding and managing their emotions

* learn and practice skills in Emotion Coaching

* discuss how emotions are viewed in society, and

* looking after yourself! 

​

This free program is in partnership with Family Support Newcastle and funded by the NSW DCJ. 

​

 Places are limited, morning tea is provided, Children's Activity Group is available and registration is essential
