Our service relies solely on donations and limited funding received from NSW Department of
Communities and Justice. There has been a significant rise in the number of people calling the Maitland LGA home as they leave metro regions. As a result more families are facing additional challenges such as the rising cost of living, increasing housing insecurity and affordable housing options, food insecurity, family members in with violent partners and parents, which is resulting in increasing the trauma experience for many children and adults. We continue to
work with as many families as we can, but we need your help to support even more families that
would otherwise have no-one.
