Make a financial donation

Maitland Family Support is grateful for funding from NSW Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ). The reality is, the funding is limited and there has been a significant rise in the number of people calling the Maitland LGA home as they leave metro regions. As a result, more families are facing additional challenges such as the rising cost of living, increasing housing insecurity and affordable housing options, food insecurity, increased domestic and family violence resulting in increasing the trauma experience for many children and adults.

 

We continue to work with as many families as we can,

but we need your help to support even more families that
would otherwise have no-one.​​​

Maitland Family Support Inc is a Registered Charity and a Deductible Gift Recipient, so all donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Volunteer for 'Food is Life'

Every Tuesday we gratefully accept fresh produce and non-perishable donations for our 'Food is Life' program, affectionately known as FIL.  Volunteers accept donations, set up the room and graciously meet our guests between 12.30-2.30pm to provide food relief.  

​

If you can spare a time each Tuesday, once a fortnight or even once a month we would love to have you join the FIL team.  For more information on donating supplies or becoming a FIL volunteer reach out to Amorelle or Ido on 49140444 or info@mfss.com.au
